EITC

Each summer The Salvation Army Harrisburg Summer Youth Enrichment (SYE) Progam hosts 120-150 children, grades K-8, each week day, all day for 9 weeks--primarily seving the children of working families who are struggling to make ends meet. Given the advanced academic activities we will be providing for the kids, SYE is eligible to receive EITC (Educational Impovement Tax Credit) contributions - and your business can receive up to a 90% tax credit for your donation!

EITC applications must be submitted online through the PA Department of Community and Economic Development at https://dced.pa.gov/programs/educational-improvement-tax-credit-program-eitc/. Businesses who participated last year should submit their application beginning May 15.  New applicants should apply by July 1. Please share this information with your employer and business colleagues who participate in EITC and/or are interested in participating.
