Pathway of Hope Goal:

Our VISION centers on helping individuals and families who repeatedly access our basic needs assistance services to become self-sufficient through a holistic approach of meeting their physical, spiritual and emotional needs.

Our HOPE is to change the legacy of dependence to a legacy of greater economic and personal stability - not only for this individual or family, but for each succeeding generation after them.

Our GOAL is to provide intensive, long-term case management to help people overcome the barriers (employment, marital or family issues, budgeting, housing, transportation, decision-making) that keep them from reaching their full potential.

Our Plan of Action

LIFE COACHING:  Through private, weekly 2-hour intensive life coaching sessions and the use of intervention resources, The Salvation Army will work to move individuals and/or families to a vibrant place of independence.

ACCOUNTABILITY:  Clients will be selected based on their willingness and ability to work with our case manager to set goals, develop and follow action plans for achieving those goals, and their willingness to be held accountable for doing so.

GUIDANCE:  Through these weekly life coaching sessions, the Case Manager will ensure that the client makes progress and ultimately experiences success in meeting their goals for self-sufficiency.

EDUCATION PROGAMS:  A series of quarterly educational workshops that address expressed needs by clients will also be offered. Topics include parenting and family dynamics, financial literacy, budgeting and nutrition education.

HOW TO ENROLL:  Inquiries and referrals can be directed to Rev. Scott Minnich via email (Scott.Minnich@use.salvationarmy.org) or by phone 717-233-6755 ext. 127.
