The Salvation Army Easton Corps Community Center is a local expression of The Salvation Army worldwide, an assembly of people who have found salvation in Jesus Christ and devoted their lives in worship to God and service to humans. The heart of the Corps is a group of members who consider The Salvation Army their home for worship and service.
Our Social Ministries provide emergency assistance, casework services, and life skills counseling to people hurting from want of basic human needs and seeking to establish a more viable life. Emergency assistance includes groceries, travel assistance, utility assistance, clothing and furniture vouchers, and other services.
The Salvation Army Camp Ladore offers young people the opportunity to experience the world in a fresh, exciting, and wholesome way at our 1,600 acre residential camp in the Poconos every summer.
Holiday Assistance helps families celebrate a special holiday through the distribution of Thanksgiving food baskets and new children’s Christmas gifts. We also spread Christmas cheer to nursing home and hospital-bound individuals through visitation, caroling, and gift-giving.
