>  Financial Assistance

When funds are available, the Salvation Army is able to help with Water Payments and Home Heating Fuel. Also, when funds are available,  clients may receive up to one month of rent assistance, providing they meet eligibility guidelines. The social work office is open Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Please call our Case Manager directly at 570-421-4710.

> Emergency Shelter

The Salvation Army operates a Single Adult Shelter for up to 12 men and 8 women and 3 Townhouse units for 3 families. Residents will receive needed assistance to secure permanent housing. Fiscal Management and budget control counseling is offered to help any client keep their present home. Please call our Program Manager, Cymanda Robinson, at 570-421-3050, ext. 115.

> Food Bank

Distributes food (groceries) and personal items on an emergency basis, Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pm and does monthly mass distributions to those who have pre-qualified. Distributions are available to residents of Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, Delaware Water Gap, Stroud and Smithfield Townships. Clients must be registered in advance for the distribution. Emergency cases are also considered. For residents of other county areas, referrals are made to the appropriate pantry. For more information, CLICK HERE.

> Soup Kitchen

Operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 9:00am and 11:00am - 12:00pm. Open to anyone. For more information, please call Soup Kitchen Coordinator, Stephanie Lesh, at 570-421-3050, ext. 109.

> Christmas Assistance

Holiday food distributions, Christmas and Thanksgiving, are coordinated with other Monroe County pantries.
