The Salvation Army Community Youth Sports Programs

Where do kids go to have fun while participating in 6-week long youth sports programs? Where can they get fit and, at the same time, meet new friends, all for a small monetary registration fee? The Salvation Army Levittown Corps offers several youth sports programs where boys and girls, ages 4 to 10, can participate in basketball, t-ball, and soccer. All programs encourage success and help kids to develop good sportsmanship, learn various skills, and improve their individual performance levels.

Personalized individual coaching is given at the skill level needed - regardless of amateur or advanced status. Each and every participant/team member receives awards for participation, team shirts/hats, and an experience to last a lifetime. Youth basketball, for boys and girls ages 5-10, meets for 6 weeks from January through February each year. All games are held on Saturdays with a half hour practice before the game. Games and practices are 1 hour long and times vary from the earliest occurring at 10 AM and the latest at 2 PM. Our youth soccer program, for ages 4-7, is held both in the spring and in the fall.

Spring soccer begins in April and fall soccer begins the end of September each year. Practices and games for both spring and fall sessions are held on Saturdays. Practice is scheduled during the week with games held on Saturdays. Please note due to scheduling of other Salvation Army programs the dates above are general and subject to change.
