Volunteering is an excellent way to give back to the community by helping others. We offer many different ways to volunteer your time and your talents to make a difference in the lives of others. Volunteering is also a learning experience that helps you to increase your communication skills, acquire job-related skills, and improve your job opportunities.
Community Service Opportunities - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (for court ordered community service only)
Thanksgiving Dinner - assist with serving our Thanksgiving community dinner.
Christmas - assist with Red Kettles and Bell Ringing, Food Packing, and Food and Toy Distribution
Red Kettles & Bell Ringing - ring the bell at a Kettle location (locations available throughout Bucks County)
Food Packing - set up and pack food baskets for the needy
Food and Toy Distribution - assist with distributing food baskets and toys to families in need
Nursing Home Visitation for Easter & Christmas - distribution of gifts to residents in nursing homes in Bucks County
Prior to volunteering with The Salvation Army Levittown Corps ALL volunteers, over the age of 18, must go through a screening process and complete paperwork. You must fill out the volunteer application form and indicate the Levittown Corps as your location. After this form is received there will be additional clearances to be filled out.
