Here are our current construction updates as of 2/14/2019:
1.Interior demolition of the Wells Fargo Conference space is nearly complete. The week of 2/18, some controlled exterior demolition work will commence, as glass, decorative exterior wall finishes, and roofing will be removed to expose the building's structural steel. During the week beginning 2/25, this structural steel will be removed from the site (this work is planned to occur at night, after we close at 9:30 pm and before we open at 5:30 am). Once all demolition work is complete (on/around the end of the month), work will commence to begin the rebuild the WF center as per our approved design.
2. The construction barrier around our warm water pool is now complete, and work has started to begin draining this pool and disconnecting it from our existing mechanical systems. Beginning Monday 2/18, main demolition of the pool and the surrounding deck will commence, and this work will also be done in the evening (same hours as above). Once this demo work is complete, work to rebuild the hot tub in the existing pool space will commence. It is likely that the entire activity pool space may be closed for one day when the new hot tub plaster is poured.
Resolutions are always commonplace in the first months of the year. We set goals for ourselves to live healthier lives, lose weight, start a fitness program, get organized, spend more time with our families, take a class, and the list goes on and on. We see the new year as a new start and a time to make changes in our lives. It is an opportunity to do things differently and to live life to its fullest. We hope for a better tomorrow.
At the Kroc , we can help you achieve some of your goals. We offer a wide variety of fitness classes — Zumba, Yoga, Spinning, Cycling, Pilates and many more. interested in swimming? You can take swim lessons, do laps in the competition pool, or take a water aerobics class. Also, we offer educational classes throughout the year. There are many opportunities for you to meet your resolutions here at the Kroc.
As we reflect upon our past blessings and our future hopes, may we always remember who our true Hope is — Jesus Christ. In 1 Timothy 4:10, we read, “That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.” We pray you put your hope in the living God.
