Youth Recreation Program

Returning to The Salvation Army Kroc Center this Fall is our improved and revamped Youth Recreation Program (for ages 5-8)!
  • A structured format for our youth sports program, with coaching expertise in each sports area
  • Appropriate, quality equipment in all areas of Recreation programming
  • A 6-week curriculum that focuses on learning and competition in a fun environment - sessions will end with an opportunity for participants to showcase what they've learned!
  • Runs Monday-Through Friday, from 5:30pm - 6:30pm
This structured program is modeled after successful training programs in other areas of the center (Fitness, Aquatics, Performing Arts); the nominal fee for participation will help us continue to grow our offerings for the benefit of our Kroc and community youth participants! $35 for Members ($60 for non-members.
The weekly schedule for the program is as follows:
  • Monday - Field/Fitness Conditioning with Morgan and Leanne
  • Tuesday - Basketball with Antwoine
  • Wednesday - Soccer with Leanne
  • Thursday - Fitness Games with Leanne and Kacei
  • Friday - Basketball with Antwoine

Teen Skills & Drills

4 Week Program

This program is geared toward preteen and teens ages 9-16, as a safe way to sharpen and condition those sports skills. Drills, cardio, and weight training will be utilized to advance participants endurance and form!

FREE for members ($49 for non-members). Sessions will take place twice a week (on Mondays & Tuesdays) with a choice of time of day:

  • Ages 13-16 | 10:30am - 12:00pm
  • Ages 9-12 | 4:00pm - 5:30pm
  • Ages 13-16 | 7:00pm - 8:30pm
