A friendly competition that supports vital Salvation Army services in the Harrisburg Area!
This Christmas season, teams representing Harrisburg area businesses and organizations will compete to raise the highest total through The SalvationArmy Harrisburg's Red Kettle Campaign.
From mid November to December 31, your group can compete to raise the most money through the Christmas Red Kettle Drive to benefit The Salvation Army Harrisburg. You can add to your company's total in a number of ways:
Staff a Red Kettle: Sign-up for any of our 20 locations around the Harrisburg area. Every dollar raised while a representative of your company or group staffs the kettle will be added to your group total. Please visit http://www.timetosignup.com/salvationarmyhbg/ to sign up for a Red Kettle shift.
Desktop Kettles: Set-up a desktop red kettle(s) provided by The Salvation Army Harrisburg. Organize inter-departmental challenges and contests, while each dollar raised ultimately counts toward your group total.
Online Team Kettle: Expand your chance to win by creating an online team kettle. You may only staff a kettle for a couple of days, but an online team kettle will allow you to "ring the bells" everyday!
Social Media and Texting: Use your social networks, email and word of mouth to let people know where to find your team's kettle. Direct friends to your online kettle, provided by The Salvation Army. This year we've added an option to text donations to your kettle - just one more way to make it easy for your friends and family to give!
Matching Donations: Can you find an organization to match your kettle total for a given day? Or, your company may choose to match employee donations. Any matching contributions will be accepted toward your overall total.
