The Fight in Delaware

The Salvation Army has a long history and mission of fighting the dehumanizing horrors of human trafficking, both internationally and domestically.
We are part of this fight in the state of Delaware. Advocates from many disciplines are forming alliances to fight this heinous crime. These include law enforcement, attorneys, the medical community and providers of basic human services to help these victims become survivors.

What Can You Do to Help?

There are many opportunities to help anti-trafficking efforts:

  • Raise awareness about human trafficking and our Fight for Freedom Campaign on your social media platforms
  • Recognize red flags and REPORT to the National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1(888)373-7888
  • Host a fundraiser
  • Write a letter to a survivor in our program to encourage them on their journey
  • Collect toiletries/gifts to donate to one of our program’s survivors
  • Pray for healing of the many traumas endured by these brave individuals
  • Intern or volunteer with a local organization fighting human trafficking
