Shawnee Riverfest III, Back and Bigger with the support of Mario Sebastian, and Kendall Phillips Mario Sebastian-Solo Artist/ Lead Guitarist to Marc Anthony, American idol Contestant Kendall Phillips, Duet Group "Valentina", Mike Frank and Friends and Shawnee Playhouse's cast of Ring Of Fire all set to perform at Shawnee Riverfest ...after "R2R"

Apr. 24, 2014 - NY, NJ, PA- CILA llc Management is excited to announce that Shawnee Riverfest III will take place on Sunday July 13th, 2014 from 12-7 pm."There is such great support in this family friendly event, it is wonderful to see...everyone from Sponsors, Talent, and Vendors are stepping up to make a difference this year" says Gil Coronado of CILA llc Management. This years hosts of the concert will be Gary Smith and Elisa Chase of Gary in the Morning Show, and introducing Christina Luna of the "Tu Voz con Christina Radio Show", all of Pocono 96.7.

"We are so thrilled to work again with Pocono 96.7 FM on this Community Event, as no one knows Community Events more than the team at Pocono 96.7 FM" say Gil Coronado, of CILA llc Management. The addition of an attraction "R2R" aka Race to Riverfest, is also in the works that will set the tone for the Shawnee Riverfest Concert. Shawnee Riverfest III, is a 6 hour free concert benefiting the E Stroudsburg Salvation Army Emergency Response Program. Donations from vendors, auction items, attractions will go to the E Stroudsburg Salvation Army. Major James Gingrich of the E Stroudsburg Salvation Army says "The money received from this event directly benefits the programs that provide food for the residents of Monroe County."

Shawnee Riverfest III Talent includes, Mario Sebastian-Solo Artist/ Lead Guitarist to Marc Anthony, who will take a break from touring, to support Shawnee Riverfest III. Mario brings to SR III his sound, which embodies the new breed of emerging bilingual Pop/ Rock Artists. In 2013, Mario performed with many high profile recording artists including Thalia, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, and for President Obama at the 2013 Inauguration. It is with all this success, Mario wanted to give back in a way he could, through his music. He plans to bring his band and perform music from his upcoming project. He even lended his hit song "End of Time" to the popular 'Tu Voz con Christina Radio Show' on Pocono 96.7 FM, and even appeared as a guest.

 

Nashville recording artist and BMI songwriter, Kendall Phillips joins the Shawnee Riverfest Roster. Kendall Phillips is a former American Idol contestant and was the runner up on the NBC show, Country Showdown. She has just come off her national radio tour promoting her debut single "You Should Know", which recently charted at #3 on the Power Source TOP 20 chart and broke the HOT 100 Country Chart on MUSIC ROW. Kendall Phillips is excited to join the Shawnee Riverfest roster saying "I'm really looking forward to being a part of this year's Shawnee Riverfest. I have such wonderful fans in the area and I'm really happy to be able to do something to give back to the community that's so openly embraced me and my music." Kendall will be share her heart while she performs her new single "My Heart Belongs in The Poconos."

 

Mike Frank and Friends, are excited to join Shawnee Riverfest III. Mike Frank & Friends is a NJ/NY-based modern rock/jam band that incorporates a diverse blend of styles, to create a musical experience second to none. Mike Frank's lyrics spotlight seemingly small, yet significant moments in life, while the full band generates a large musical presence that takes you by the hand and leads you into a familiar dance. Each live performance is personalized with several improvisational segments, which take each song to a higher climax. Influences include: Moe, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix.

VALENTINA, is a local duet group consisting of Kelly Keegan, and Shara Tallada. VALENTINA is an adult contempory duet, that sings songs from the heart. VALENTINA sounds and music are inspired by some of the great female singers Mariah Carey, Adele, Whitney Houston, as well as Broadway leading ladies Idina Menzel, Kristen Chenoweth and even Lea Michelle. Shawnee Playhouse Cast- Will perform numbers from their upcoming show "Ring Of Fire". From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. More than two dozen classic hits-including I Walk The Line, A Boy Named Sue, Folsom Prison Blues, and the title tune-performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a uniquely American legend! Though he is never impersonated, Johnny Cash's remarkable life story is told through his music, climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate!

The Historic Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is located in Shawnee On The Delaware, PA off Rt 80 at PA Exit 310. This event will be held rain or shine at the River Sanctuary on the green lawn of the resort with the picturesque backdrop of the wild and scenic Delaware River. Event admission and parking is free.
