Mrs. Sinkaus' homeroom students made and sold Valentine's
Day pins in February as part of their "We Love Our
Community" Service Learning Project. The students sold
pins during homeroom and lunches to faculty, staff, and
students and raised $153.75 for the Salvation Army of
Monroe County's Food Pantry. They also collected a large
donation of food for the Food Pantry. On April 25th,
thirteen students accompanied Mrs. Sinkaus and classroom
aide, Mrs. Peters, to the Salvation Army's Food Pantry
where they helped distribute packages of food to local
families in need.

The East Stroudsburg Education Association donated over
$1,800 to The Salvation Army. The money was raised through
member donations.
