David Morton, Custodian

David has been our custodian for almost 10 months now, but he has been a member of The Salvation Army church and a volunteer for his entire life.

"I love The Army and everything it stands for," Dave says with a smile.  "I believe in our mission of Doing The Most Good."

Being of service to The Army and those we serve are in Dave's blood and on his heart. Taking the job as Custodian last September was a natural step for him. In addition to making our grounds sparkle, David has been the volunteer Emergency Disaster Services Coordinator for the past 4 years.

Positive interaction with the community is one of the most vital aspects of being EDS Coordinator and our Custodian. Dave welcomes everyone he  meets with open arms. "One of the most rewarding parts of the job is seeing the smiles on the faces of the people we are helping," Dave says.

"Working around people and being able to help them is why I am here. I know I just said it but I really do love The Army. Being able to give back is the best feeling."
