The Salvation Army provides spiritual services to anyone God brings across our path.
At its heart, The Salvation Army is a church. This foundation is what motivates us to do the work that we do.
We love God and serve others because of His love for all. That’s where our mission comes from – to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet needs in His name without discrimination. We want to introduce the love of God into the lives of those most in need, as we care for them physically, emotionally and spiritually. We do this by offering free prayer, Bible-based ministries for all ages, and Sunday worship.
Worship and Programs
The Salvation Army in East Stroudsburg is a church to the local community, as well as place anyone in need can receive help with a wide range of social services.
Sunday School
Sundays at 9:45 AM. Year round for children and adults. Anyone is welcome!
Weekly Service
Sundays at 11:00 AM. Year round, traditional worship with brass band along with contemporary worship. Bible based preaching that addresses contemporary issues. Anyone is welcome!
Bible Study & Prayer Meeting
Tuesdays at 5:30 PM. Year round, interactive topical study of the Bible for adults age 16 and up and an opportunity for Christians to gather to pray for those in need, our leaders and any other requests. Anyone is welcome!
Women's Ministries
Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. Year round variety of programs focusing on Service, Fellowship, Worship and Education for all women age 14 and over.
Junior Soldiers
Sundays at 11:30 AM. Year round bible study and leadership development program for all children age 6-16.
Corps Cadets
A 5 year, hands-on, active Bible Study program designed for ages 13-18. Corps Cadets meet weekly on Fridays at 6:00 PM during the school year.
