Your faith in our efforts and  commitment to your community make it possible for us to achieve our mission. Your gifts of prayer and financial support are an investment-an investment that will be repaid many times over by the thousands of lives changed each day.

You can help us make an impact in our community by volunteering your time. Below is a list of some of our most popular volunteer opportunities. Look at the list below to see if you can find an opportunity that compliments what you have to offer. Please feel free to contact us so we can work together to help change lives.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Are you thinking about helping others? Do you need the right incentive? Think about what it would be like to make that one-on-one connection and know that you helped a youngster learn how to read? How would you like to be a strong role model and teach a bunch of young men and women how to improve their basketball game.

Volunteering means sharing your time, talent, and a lot of heart. What you get back in return is satisfaction and a "thank you". The Salvation Army is a natural place to volunteer because we are in communities helping the most needy. Our work is only complete because we rely on trusted volunteers who want to make a difference.

There are a number of ways to give back to your community. You can start by first deciding to take the plunge and become a Salvation Army volunteer.

For more information, please contact Tony Perrotta at (570) 326-9187, ext. 103.
