The Salvation Army of Williamsport is here to help our local families with their emergency needs.
Often this is food for the table. We have the ability to make sure that no family in Lycoming County need go hungry. We understand that money for food is short at certain times during the month or year for all families and our mission is to make sure no one go hungry, ever! If you are running short on food, or you know someone who is going without food, please call us at 570-326-9187 to make sure this need is met.
Sometimes an emergency may be a need for help with an electric, gas, oil, or rent payment. These are also services we provide. Although our resources are finite we are able to assist people through our own resources or a huge network of organizations that we work with who have the same goal of meeting the needs of the family.
If you are not sure if we can help in your situation, it is best to call, make an appointment with our professional counselor and you may be surprised by the care you will get and we more than likely can help in some small way with your situation.
