Join the Most Amazing Race
to the $500 Finish Line!
The Salvation Army's "Doing the Most Good" slogan is a vow to do the most and the best for every person we encounter. You can be a part of this by joining The Salvation Army of Williamsport’s Most Amazing Race. The race will be held in and around Historic Downtown Williamsport Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
Patterned after the CBS show “The Amazing Race,” this Most Amazing Race combines challenges that are physical, mental and sometimes even silly and scatters teams of two all over Williamsport in an effort to win a $500 cash prize!
From the starting line, teams are given a clue leading them to other checkpoints and they must successfully complete challenges—following clues—until they reach the end of the race. The conclusion of the race involves an awards presentation and refreshments. Teams must raise funds to benefit The Salvation Army’s programs in order to qualify for the race, and are awarded advantages in the race for being among the top fund raisers. Teams may develop a fan base of friends and family members who may contribute electronically or by mail to their specific team's goal. (Make checks out to "The Salvation Army - 457 Market Street, Williamsport, PA 17701". Please note which team the donation will go to.)
