Camp Ladore - Summer Camp
Camp Ladore gives children the opppurtunity to experience boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, camp fires and a relaxing week in the great outdoors. Located two hours nortth of the Lehigh Valley in beautiful Waymart Pennsylvania, this serene location offers new experiences to inner-city youth. Concert a Huge Success!
Hundreds of friends and supporters came together in West Park to celebrate our organizations 150th anniversary where, for the first time in decades, the PenDel Brass and Singers performed in the Lehigh Valley. They were joined by the Allentown All-City band and Mayor Pawlowski came out to show his support. Thank you to all involved!
PPL Volunteer Challenge
PPL employees took part in the Volunteer Center's Volunteer Challenge and give our homless shelter's family room a facelift. PPL employees spent their day painting, building bookshelves, providing new toys and books, adding countertops, created a chalboard paint wall and more to make the room more family friendly for the women and children who reside here.

Easton Corps Warming
The Easton Corps opened it's doors to the community as a Warming Center for the City of Easton during this extremely cold winter and assisted 279 individuals who had nowhere else to go. Additionally, our staff spoke one-on-one with each individual in an effort to help them find a permanent solution to their lack of resources.
Allentown Corps Provides Assistance to Students Affected by Cleveland Elementary School Fire
On February 24th, a fire broke out inside Cleveland Elementary School causing serious smoke damage to the facility. We are grateful that there were no injuries and also grateful that we are able to assist the community. While the school is being repaired, which may take up to eight weeks, the Salvation Army Community Center is operating as a drop of and pick-up site for nearly 200 students. Pen Argyl Corps Increases Senior Feeding Program
Due to increased demand and with the assistance of Northampton County, the Pen Argyl Salvation Army has doubled its Senior Feeding Program. Seniors may now come to the Corps building on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at 12:00 noon for a hot meal and fellowship. Please join us!
Bethlehem Corps Provides Shelter to the Homeless
In partnership with other churches that belong to the Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering ministry, we provided shelter to nearly 40 homeless individuals in our Corps building every week. These individuals were provided with a meal and given a place to rest throughout the cold winter. This program took place from December 1, 2014 and ran through March of 2015. Shelter to the Homeless
The Rich Fleming Family Hope Center, a shelter for women and children, continues to provide emergency supports for women and children enduring a time of homelessness.
