This fall, individuals will be competing in The Salvation Army's Axe of Kindness 2017 Axe Throwing Tournament to help those who have been affected by human trafficking in Philadelphia.

All funds raised through this event will go toward supporting The Salvation Army's anti-human trafficking program, New Day to Stop Trafficking.

Help our fundraisers reach their goals so they can secure a spot in the tournament and support The Salvation Army's New Day to Stop Trafficking program!

Good Fun for a Good Cause . . .

New Day to Stop Trafficking provides hope and protection for victims of labor and sex trafficking.  Its victim services include;  case management, a transitional living home and a New Day Drop-In Center.  The New Day Drop-In Center, located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, is a safe, trauma informed, welcoming and non-judgmental space for women suffering from sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.  Many of the women seen are suffering from the "force, fraud and coercive" tactics of sex trafficking and are seeking safety.

New Day to Stop Trafficking also offers partner agency support in the form of training and awareness, as well as a 24-7 crisis hotline and legislative advocacy.
