The Salvation Army, through these programs, desires to offer educational and physical programs which will develop the body, mind and the mental attitude fo the family or individual. Most of all they offer an opportunity for intra-social development.

Since the early 1900's the Salvation Army has been an integral part of the Monroe County area, rendering services to families or individuals with problems of emotional, social or spiritual nature.

The Salvation Army believes that the fundamental objective of good casework is "helping people to help themselves." Aid is given without discrimination of any kind. All are welcome to applyfor services
